Whether it be housing, finding a job, changing careers, finding reliable transportation, childcare, any kind of life issue their Family Advocate will work with you to get the right supports and systems in place. The Family Advocate can come to your home to work with you or you can meet at the WHCA offices or another location convenient to you. No fees – MaineCare is not required.

Meet with a financial coach for advice on issues from debt help, choosing student loans, avoiding foreclosure, starting up a business, retirement planning, etc…  Services are free to anyone in Washington County regardless of income.  Email:

The Heat Coach can work with families on finding fuel assistance & help heating your home, also can help with ideas for making your home more fuel efficient and draft resistant.
