Certain models of the Tommee Tippee electric bottle warmer and Land of Nod’s Octopus rattles have been recalled for safety concerns.
The electric bottle warmer (pictured on the left) can overheat, causing the unit to melt or even start a fire. Mayborn, the makers of the Tommee Tippee bottle warmers, request that if you own one of these products check their website for model codes to see if your unit is part of this recall. If you own one of the recalled models, unplug the unit immediately and contact the company through their website. They will replace it free of charge. The bottle warmers have been sold through Walmart, Kohl’s, Target, TJ Maxx, Walgreens, Toys R Us, Amazon and other outlets.
The Octopus rattle (pictured below) by The Land of Nod has fabric patches on it’s tentacles that can loosen and become a choking hazard to young children.
