Graco Issues Warning and Recalls Strollers for Causing Serious Injuries

Graco has recalled 11 models of strollers for causing serious injuries to fingers including several fingertip amputations. The hinge on the sides of the stroller where it folds can pinch or injure a child’s finger. Click here for a complete list of stroller models that are included in this recall.

If you own one of these strollers contact Graco at 800-345-4109 for a free repair kit and instructions. While waiting for the repair kit to arrive Graco has issued the following warning:

While waiting for a repair kit, caregivers should exercise extreme care when unfolding the stroller to be certain that the hinges are firmly locked before placing a child in the stroller. Caregivers are advised to immediately remove the child from a stroller that begins to fold to keep their fingers from the side hinge area.

These strollers are sold at Target, Walmart, Toy R Us, Amazon, and other locations nationwide.
